With more than a decade of experience in trade compliance within the federal government, Omar has seen the wide spectrum of international trade compliance from the inside. His career spans from antidumping and countervailing duty calculation at the Department of Commerce, to intellectual property rights policy and national customs broker policy management at U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This experience has given Omar a comprehensive, ground-level understanding of the regulatory systems that shape international trade.
